Keily Adams: 'until next time, keily pt. 1'

$100.00

1/2 of a mini a self portrait series i took at the end of my winter study abroad trip to india in january of this year. i was able to visit different parts of the country like bombay/mumbai, kochi, jaipur, and banaras/varanasi where this picture was taken. this trip was a lot for me, a lot of firsts like celebrating my birthday without family and friends, a lot of traveling in short periods of time, a lot of new language, culture, food, people, and a lot of consuming which was great but also overwhelming for me.

i barely had time to process everything i was experiencing so i started to write whenever i had time to myself throughout the day in a little red journal i got as a gift at the beginning of the trip. the journal served as a way to brainstorm ideas, document things, and just write what i was feeling. at the end of the trip i decided to go back and reread what i wrote and in a way, i ended up having these conversations with myself as i was reflecting on this trip and looking back on everything.

this photo was the result.
