OUR ADMISSION
PROCESS
Important Details
Led by a team of artists, MONAD events are designed to highlight amazing art and to give our global community a platform. We seek to give a voice to marginalized artists through community organizing.
Fees
As a company committed to uplifting community, we never charge participation fees, as we believe the expression and experience of art should never have pay walls or barriers to entry.
We handle all event costs and only share the cost of printing and framing with photographers if printing is required, as the framed prints are theirs to keep and/or sell. We take 0% commission if artists choose to sell their work at our events.
Application Submission
Interested applicants must complete the admission application form available on the submissions form.
Portfolio Review
The MONAD curation team reviews all submissions. If an artist’s work is a fit for our exhibitions, they will receive a notification of admission.
MEET THE TEAM
FOUNDER | DEZ AMAKYE
Dez Amakye burst into the worlds of arts & entertainment through his brand partnerships work at Hypebeast and marketing role at Foot Locker, where he elevated the Nike & Jordan brands. With storytelling at the core of his content and events, identity plays a large role in MONAD’s agency work, as they seek to build immersive digital and IRL experiences to illuminate The Culture.
CURATOR | CHARLES FIELDS
As Curator at MONAD Gallery, Charles Fields brings a practiced artist’s eye and a storyteller’s heart to every exhibition. Formerly an exhibiting artist himself, Charles approaches curation as both a creative and collaborative process — shaping the gallery’s programs through a deep understanding of visual language, narrative flow, and the emotional resonance of art.
TECHNOLOGY LEAD | NIKKO PINEDA
Nikko Pineda supports MONAD Agency’s AI and technology initiatives, ensuring every system, workflow, and digital experience runs smoothly in the lead-up to each launch. From coordinating technical logistics to responding to creators’ platform needs, Nikko plays a key role in delivering seamless, tech-forward innovations.
ARTIST SERVICES | Veralyn Wen
Veralyn Wen supports MONAD Gallery’s exhibiting artists with care and precision, ensuring every detail is handled smoothly in the lead-up to each show. From coordinating logistics to responding to artists’ needs, Veralyn plays a key role in creating a seamless exhibition experience — allowing artists to focus fully on their creative vision.
