BLACK HISTORY MONTH 2026
MONAD Agency invites artists from around the world to participate in a landmark series of installations, exhibitions, and public programs in NYC. This year’s curatorial focus engages expansive narratives within the African Diaspora—exploring Afrofuturism, Hair Stories, culinary traditions, and the enduring legacies of Black art histories.
We seek to highlight the voices of contemporary artists whose practices illuminate the depth, breadth, and dynamic textures that define Black history and its future. Through this open call, we aim to create a platform for bold, innovative, and critically engaged work that enriches our collective understanding.
Grants may be available to support the production and transport of artwork.
Exhibition Dates: February 1st - February 28th 2026
Location: MONAD Space — 253 Nostrand Ave, Brooklyn, 11205
